TREKKING - Rhododendron Way

Climbing to the Buddhist place of Dhajay summit (11000 ft / 3666 m), you walk in unique Rhododendron Forest, where these plants grow above 20 m. from beginning of March until the end of April, you admire the blooming trees.
This exceptional forest counts 35 species of rhododendrons.
Boards along the footpath, about indigent animals and plants give to the visitors interesting information. The boards are made by the pupils of the Ribdi’s school.

Ribdi (7000 ft / 2333 m)
Propositions :
*1 day : 3h to the Lake (lunch) / 2h back to Ribdi (same way).
*2 days :
1st day : 3h to the Lake (lunch) / 1h to Tent camp on Taal (observation tower and meeting Wildlife specialists and dinner).
2nd day : 1h to climb to the Buddhist place of Dhajay summit (11000 ft / 3666 m) / 3h back to Ribdi (possible wildlife observation time in bamboo hut).
